dont wanna travel alone!!!

hi everybody!!!
im landing in mumbay at 3:40 early morning!!! is there any chance to spend the night at the airport? does anybody know!!!!
will spend a couple of nights in mumbay i suppose and then travel north mumbay...rajastan or wherever the wind will blow...have been already from Mumbay downwards so i would rather go the opposite way but would love to travel in company!!!!
will be in mumbay on the 23rd...
plese let me hear anybody!!!

Hi, I would suggest you book a hotel with airport pick up service, I know many places in Delhi do this. I think I'm paying 450 rs which is a little more than normal, but at least you know there should be no hassle getting there.

Loads of people, including many females travel to India alone. I've always found India to be a very social place to travel. You will meet other people for sure.

My last trip of 5 months to India was alone, and I think I spent 3 days all up where I was by myself.

If you want to meet up with other people and you haven't arranged a travel buddy, get tourist quota on the trains, they often bunch tourists together on trains, otherwise you meet other people waiting for buses, at guesthouses, at restaurants, at yoga classes.

You will probably be by yourself while you stay in the first major city you land in, but I've always met people to travel with for a while by the 2nd or 3rd destination, lots of other people are also looking for company for a while in India.

I am travelling by myself too. Flying into Chennai tonight and will be travelling south india first before making my way up to Mumbai. I have 6 months in India before I head off to Nepal. Could meet up if our paths crossed. Let me know.

I am planning to go to north east india in Nov-Dec(dates not fixed). Planning to visit Udaipur(Tripura), Guwahati and places on the way then move to Kolkota (rail/air). Travel from Kolkota to Tarapith and then further JSDE in Jharkhand. Looking for company max 2-3 traveller(male/female).
