Hi All,
Kinda feeling sick by recession, it's not allowing my buddy to take few days off, He'll still get confirmed by this evening... Anyways, If he's out I'll board a sleeper bus from delhi and leave tonight 10/26, if not tmrw early morning via car...Throwing an option to you all to join... Hi,
my brother and I will be in Pushkar on 31st Oct. Travelling from UK. Are you in Pushkar yet? Is it REALLY busy? We have accomodation booked but don't know about eating places or anything. Can you recommend anything? |

Hi There !
I just returned this morning, it's a full on fun, Lot of places to hang out and explore...Further a must try is 'Out of the Blue' and 'Baba Roof top Restraunt' they serve mostly world cuisine if you are interested...For indian food, I'm not the right person, I didn't try as i eat it daily...I'm from delhi :-p Enjoy ur trip...tc |

There was a photo in my online newspaper today: the lake is certainly dry and they are bringing water in tanks so people can bathe.

I saw a video taken by a visitor there the other day - it is dry around the edges, looks not too good, a bit of water is in ponds, and a small bit in the middle. It is a result of a 'clean up', making deeper operation, and failure of rains to fill it.

Yup Indeed the lake is dry, they have just preserved water in the makeshift ponds they have made next to each ghat...
