Delhi -> Kumaon (Almora, Kausani)

Well, it's time for my winter break...and I'm headed into the Kumaon hills..via Delhi.

So if anyone is travelling thru' Delhi or in the Himalayan towns of Almora/Kausani, give me a shout. I'd love some company.

My travel-dates are: Nov 7 to 8 -> Delhi, Nov 8 to Nov 15 -> Kausani/Binsar/Almora

I have a few questions for Delhi-ite's
a. How far is the YMCA guesthouse from the airport and what's the best way I can get from one to the other? Are there good buses to take you from the airport into the city-center?
b. Since I have only 2 days in Delhi, I was considering a tour-bus to see the sights. Would that be a good idea? Any specific recommendations on my "things-to-see"?

duh uh, isn't it a bit too early for a winter break?

an autumn break, mor elikely. anywyas, enjoy ur stay. u will get hotels, etc at cheaper rates
