Confused

Hi Guys,

I have been to India once and plan to go again hopfully this year.

I am confused to go around Oct or in Dec.

The reason I am confused is:

* The cost may be lower in Oct in contrast to Dec

* More pps seem to travel in Dec, thus if someone is from here, maybe we would be able to meet up at least for the journey to India from Auz.

* Dec is a peak season where there will more tourist.

In conclusion, I think Oct/Sep/Nov will be a better options due to multiple reasons, however I would like to have other pps experience.

Also if any one is planning to travel in the periods I mentioned, would love to join you where possible.

Warm Regards

This is the travel partner forum, if you want someone to travel with you'll have to give information such as what your budget is, which part of India you plan to travel to, whether you'll be moving on every day or whether you'll be staying in one place for a week or two at a time, whether you'll be interested in experiencing modern city life or visiting archaeological sites and so on.

I think a mod will come around soon and move this to an appropriate forum. I would travel when it is less crowded and December certainly would be crowded.

I think that the months you travel may be of no more importance than where you travel. I am a Varanasi-phyle, and have lived in that city during every month of the year. While October there certainly is high season and crowded, December it is mainly empty; fog sits on the Ganges valley during the winter making it too cold for most people. October and November in Varanasi are my favorite months.
