Okay now dont run after my life.
Actually tomorrow Evening (Sunday 20th), I, along with one of my friends, are going for 1 day dash in Rajasthan from Delhi. We are going there to visit the Temple of 'Khatu Shyam Ji' which is located around 300 Km from Delhi and 70 Km from Jaipur (sort of a triangle between the three). Check the link for more info about the place : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khatu_Shyam Our journey starts at around 7:30 PM from Delhi, would involve couple of trains and a jeep, quick bath in the morning, visit to the temple and return journey starts at 8 AM on monday. Again two trains and a jeep and we would be back in Delhi at around 5 PM on monday. Total Expense including Food, Cold Drinks, Water. Cigarettes, chai & Travel Expenses is US $ 10-12 per head (its true guys). So inviting anyone and evryone who is in Delhi, and intersting in understaning the culture & religion. No Agent, company, guide would be able to take you that place.. and trust me its a priceless experience to embrace the almighty after such a tough and demanding journey !! So mail me at shashank.aggarwal1@gmail.com, I would be checking the mails in morning as per IST and replying to them. Better still you can mail your contact number and I will try and call you up to fix the things up. |

Okay so after this visit, I have visited their couple of more times, however both times in a car..
So Once again I am refreshing the thread as we will be going there this Sunday 28th October, Most of the schedule remains the same as first post... Last time spent less than 8 dollars per head on the entire trip...including accommodation, fare (train, jeep, Rickshaw), food (including an amazing meal in Rewari), chai, water, cigarettes..cold drinks and all.. |

Oh u went by local passenger train..Thats why its 8$/trip. Is it the only train available(combination of the two) to reach there? Its always a wonderful travelling in local train.I still remember we used to travel in EMU's when we were doing our graduation in Delhi for nothing.."kya karen kya karen chalo train me ghumte hain" and yes without ticket....
