Backwaters at the 17.10 till 19.10

Hi mates,
I am on Business trip in Bangalore for two weeks and want to leave the city for an weekend trip form then 17.10 till 19.10.
Plan/idea so far:
Fly to Kochi at the 17th afternoon fly back at the 19th afternoon.
Stay the first night and an treehouse hotel or stay to nights at a houseboat and stroll the backwaters. But siting on a boat alone with an good book is mabey relaxing but will get boring also! So if you are in that area, and have time! Give me an wink...
Would be awesome.
