August 1-15, Mumbai-->Chennai

Hi everyone,

I know its sort of a short trip but its all the time I have. I'll be working in Dhaka for the next month then off to Mumbai to go through goa, kerala, tamil nadu and then leave out of chennai.

20 yr old male, 3rd yr undergrad university student from outside NYC.

Let me know if you're interested in meeting up (or live along the route and wouldn't mind if I crashed on your couch). Thanks!

-Evan

I thought it was 3 weeks? It will be hurried...

Is it your first trip?

2-3 weeks. I know I have to be back in the states around the 16th of August, and will be working until Friday 27th of July. I know it will be rushed. I've spent some time further up north in Corbett Nat'l Park and around Uttar Pradesh, but never been to the south. I was thinking of leaving after two weeks to spend some time in Dubai (quite different from India, I know), but if I'm having a blast then I'll just stick around for those last few days.

any suggstions to maximize the time I have there would be much appreciated

No real tips, others could advise if you could pinpoint the highlights you have in mind, I think you mentioned them on the other thread.

Just in general having been before I think will greatly help you in moving around fast if you need to. But... it will still be "Indian time," as you'll know.

Send a message via Yahoo to bijapuri
you can see a good sample in that time. simply pick 3-5 places that look interesting to you, and string them together from Mumbai to Chennai.
Goa- Kochi- Periyar-Madurai-Chennai

or . . . ????

or: Ajan
