Thumbs up Anyone heading to Spiti-Ladakh-Jammu & Kashmir in late May/Early June?Confirm it here

Hello everyone !

I was just wondering,if anyone of my fellow India Mikers are heading towards Spiti-Lahaul-Ladakh-Jammu&Kashmir region during the time span 20th May to 7th June? If you do,and has already fixed your itinerary,please do let me know by posting below,and if at all you would like a meet up anywhere there or not if it suits our itinerary? And better still would be,if you all could join us and do a common trip if at all possible,but not necessarily. As for me,I have already arranged a jeep safari to the region with all the help and backup from users here,and below I am attaching my entire itinerary of which many of you might be already aware of,which is subject to change depending upon weather conditions and accessibility of high altitude routes and passes. Anyone who is interested is welcome to post their ideas and views on the same, and would be happy to meet some fellow friends of this site in person in those beautiful places alongwith enjoying the views there,if at all possible;And do let me know,if anyone of you there is intending to join us in this.

Wishing you all a very happy summer vacation and a very safe journey to wherever and whenever you all plan to visit;
Do have a look at the live link of my itinerary here http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=ddgqbcg3_14cvw74qjt& hl=en or download it attached with this post,as it looks right now!

I am interested but....

I am interested in visiting leh-ladakh, manali, kargil, shimla, Kulu, etc so your trip looks good. may end is fine with me as well. but i am not interested in jammu kashmir since i have been there b4. also the trip becomes too long bcoz of that. if i can leave that part of the trip out then it suits me fine. I live in pune. Do tell me how u plan to go there and where r u leaving from.

Well, Jammu & Kashmir is not the epi-center of my present trip,of whose itinerary you see there; It's just that,after reaching Leh via Manali-Leh highway,I don't want to do the same route back,hence I opted for Jammu.Hence,after completing Ladakh,I would head towards Jammu to board the train back home from Jammu;So,you can well understand,my primary focus is Ladakh & Spiti; My trip is starting from Chandigarh and we are starting in a Sumo/Qualis/Savari and it would end in Jammu; And would take a train reach Chandigarh and also a train to leave from Jammu;
So,do you want to leave Leh taking a flight back to Mumbai? If so,I have no problems;You can still join me untill Kargil,that is till 3rd June or so as per my itinerary.
Do let me know,if you are interested.

Manali - May 29 to June 1

I'll be in Manali from May 29 through June 1 if you're around - where are you staying? I'm at Hotel Vintage.

Hi! Thanks for writing; As for me,if the Kunzum Pass is opened,I may not be there in Manali at all this summer;So,if you don't mind me asking,what are the other places you would be visiting in HP during that time; Or,are you looking forward to go to Ladakh as well ?

Wish you a happy journey and a wonderful time out there,and hope to see you too somewhere,possibly!
