Anyone for VOF, Hemkund, Badrinath and Kedarnath in first week of October

We are group of six, heading for VOF, Hemkund, Badrinath and Kedarnath in first week of October. Our detailed itinerary is as follows -

Hope you are aware that 5th Oct is the closing date for Hemkund Saheb.

Yes, we are aware about the closing date of Hemkund. We will tweak our plan a bit once we reach GHANGARIYA.

One week before, We also planning to go there, But wondering Weather will not spoil all tour.

More over there will be nothing at VOF , in this month.

I talk to owner of this page on chat , he said , we will not find any flower this month :-(

True, this year even in Aug first wk there was very less flowers in VOF. Global warming they are telling.

You might have visited the following thread on indiamike -

It talks about VOF in Sept and Oct. I agree with the comment mentioned in the thread - "if you are going as a tourist then it is not the best of time. and if you are a traveler then its wonderful time"

We might see a very different landscape in October which may be very different from what we will see during July-August. In the end, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Will go Agra and will not see Taj :-) , anyway
VOF is for flower , for landscape there are other many place, isn't it???

You are right. Since this is our first trip in Himalaya, so any place is a good place.
