Anyone else planning on a trip to Leh/Ladakh in July?

Long time forum lurker here.

I'm looking for travel partners to the Zanskar region from around mid-end of July (10 day trip), and want to do something a little different from the typical touristy stuff.

Anyone interested, or already planning a trip then?

I have been looking at travelling to Ladakh/Leh in June/July/August time for a little while now- I've still got VERY flexible plans. If you could outline your plans perhaps I could look at them and see if they'd be suitable? It would be good to have someone to share costs/experiences with.

I might be heading to Zanskar end of July- starting August but nothing is final as of now, will keep you people updated I would be going in my Vehicle.

I have planned a full round trip from Pune-Delhi-Srinagar-Leh-Manali-Delhi-Pune starting 6th July 2012 till 22nd July 2012. I have booked the Leh trip(local,Nubra,Pangong) for 7 days with a bikers group as a package. I need company on the Srinagar-Leh and the Leh-Manali road. Srinagar to Leh is planned on buses with overnight halts in Kargil and Alchi/Lamayuru. I am planning to do the Leh-Manali highway on rental bike. interested to join me especially for the bike ride from Leh to Manali ? It starts 19th july and ends 22nd July.

I am already planning a trip. But its Spiti n Kinnaur. Have planned half of it already. From July 19th to 29th. Yet to plan the Kinnaur leg.

Hello everyone

I'm also planning a trip to Leh around mid / end July. I will be going from Delhi - Manali between 16th -20th July, stay a couple of days in Manali and then planning to travel further to Leh by 20th July or so...ideally I would've loved to go biking, but lack of travel partners is what is making me take a bus / jeep to Leh. Hopefully can meet new people and travelers to share new experiences and ofcourse share the travel cost if possible.

Plz note, I'm very flexible regarding my trip. I dont mind a few changes here & there since I have time from mid July till August end. So I'm open to Lahaul, Spiti, Zanskar, Leh, Ladakh...and also of possible, on my way back further go via Dharamshala to Delhi.

As of now its 2 of us (my friend and myself), trying to convince another friend to join in.

Keep me posted if any updates in plans and anyone around.

Ill be busy with spiti kinnaur. Would love to have travel buddies.

Return dates not yet planned but maybe second week or third week of aug. AM flexible with dharamshala too on the way back.
