Anjuna Markets
I'm arriving in Goa on Tues April 12th and plan on going to the Anjuna Markets on Wed 13th. If anyone is going to be in the area and wants to meet up let me know.

How does the Anjuna market on Wednesday night compare to the Arpora markets on Sat nights? I have not been to the anjuna market, but the sat night markets at Arpora are HUGE.

I have no idea on comparing the two, I haven't been to either before. I have heard that Anjuna markets is great though. I guess now I have another market to check out....thanks!

Markets
Difference is that at Saturday Night Market there is live music and party compare to Anjuna Wednesday Market where there is only sellers. It is also huge but most of the seller are the same.

Take plenty of small notes with you (50,20,10,5) and don't buy on the way in. You'll see prices drop as you get deeper into the market

[/quote]Not as good a selection,,,,,,,,, You might be better off just in the shops around calangute/baga, Mapusa market is primarilly a local produce market for the local people with just a few traders selling tourist stuff,,,,,,,,, |
