Adventure starting in Delhi, on Jan 13th, first time in India..
Aloha everyoe
![]() Coming from Hawaii the plane arrives on the 13th and departs on April 20 Well its my first time in India, and I plan on touring alone, to where ever my journey leads me, but hopefully to Nepal, Bhutan, Bangledesh, and the north eastern states.. It would be cool to have a drink or lunch with someone intersting, and cruize around Delhi. A little about my self: 23 year old man from Wahiawa, Hawaii. Professional Body Piercer since Highschool, until I had a recent body surfing accident which required surgery. Since then I have been devoting all my time to Physical Rehab and staying in shape, taking care of my grandmother who is living her last days, and waiting for this trip of a life time. There are so many reasons for chosing India, I would like to think the real reason is beyond my own will, perhaps along the lines of fate. India called out to me. A personal reason would be to visit the homelands of Buddha, something I feel is very special. Hopefully we can have some good laughs and good times together... ..Also I can definately bring some boxes of Hawaiian Host chocolates too Aloha everyone ![]() |

Aloha Jyotirmoy
![]() Hawaiian Host is just the brand, and they are sold everywhere here, but rarely elsewhere. Macadamia(sp?) nut canides, and caramel too. I can eat a box in one sitting, they taste so good And cheap too, though on the mainland I hear they pay like $8+ a box, opposed to $2 here in Hawaii... I usually stock up for christmas, a kinda personal stash hehehe![]() |

Macadamia nuts yeah I had eaten chocolate covered macadamia nuts. A relative of mine living in the US had gifted us some in the past. I did like them.

Just made reservations for my 9:00pm Arrival in Delhi.
1 hour away from the airport! (thats gona cost!) Its called the Wongdhen Guesthouse, up in delhi's Majnu Ka Tilla area, a tibeten town, away from the pollution of the city. The quote was par with the LP's estimation, at 250rs per night, private bathroom. But with in a "70rs by rickshaw tops" into Old Delhi, so its not too bad! The problem is, she told me only 2 nights, no more until someone cancels. The cool thing is, it was so simple. Perhaps I will find more places to stay in this little Tibetian Delhi. So whos going to meet up with me in Delhi? ![]() |
