7 dec - 11 jan : Goa / Karnataka / Kerala - wanna join ?

Hi there,

this is my first post on this forum, and at present also getting revved up for my first trip to India. I'm flying to Goa this sunday (7 dec), gonna spend a few days on the beach there, and then start travelling for 4 weeks, until the beginnig of january, having to catch a flight back home from Goa again.

At present, I'm thinking of an itinerary that would include Goa, Hampi, Mysore, Cochin, Thiruvananthapuram, and then back up, maybe via Madras.

I've been looking around this forum and Lonely Planet's for a while, for travel tips and places not to miss, but especially in that last domain I'm definitely suffering from an acute information input... So, I guess I'll just be going with the flow, as people and opportunies come along - or would that be a very bad idea ? Still, suggestions of places not to miss (and why not) on my route are still welcome.

If anyone is interested in tagging along for parts of the trip, or arriving in Goa at roughly the same time, or is already there and wouldn't mind meeting up, please lemme know !
I'm a 25 year old male musician from Belgium, used to solo travel in Europe, but first timer in India, so company would be appreciated - any kindred spirits ?
