CA note: Moved to travel partners forum.
Couple points:
a) What is the relevance of IIMA in your trip plan?
b) Manali to drass in a day, by road? Really?
Watch the movie again ...
p.s. first post - welcome to Indiamike!

Agree what does this IIMA have to do with a trip, do you plan to have some group discussion on AMS and its effects on the way? Or you want to discuss which company pays better? I think enjoy the trip and keep your IIMA brand at home.- Not an intelligent ittinerary anyway for an IIMA guy who did not do his homework, and wants strangers to join his crazy trip.
- The maps here should help.
- I wonder if the plan is made by you or given to you by your seniors at college.
Okay now coming to serious business -
- Drass is on the other side of leh if you start from manali.
- I seriously doubt if Zanskar river rafting can be done from Nubra. Unless some river that flows from Zanskar to nubra is what you are referring to. The maps will help and maybe I am wrong here.
Plkease read other ittineraries and have a safe journey. If you are still wondering what that AMS thing was then you need to read more.
Welcome to IM ! ! !
Bike rides - Kashmir to Leh and Sikkim, Jungle safaris - Corbett,Chikhaldara, Kanha and Gorumara. Traveled through MP, Himachal, J&K, Maharashtra, W.Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Goa, Karnataka, AP . . . Yet feel so New to traveling in India.

Y'know I have an inkling the plan was gifted by google. If you look for driving directions between Manali and Drass, guess what you get? A straight 687 kms route via Keylong, Udaipur, Kishtwar and Srinagar. As we used to say in college - Awesome! So perhaps, by that rationale, Drass is on this side of Leh....:
"Turn left."
"No no, the other left."
I am just wondering Why the TS mentioned IIMA in the subject line
May be they need travel partners only from IIMA or anywhere from IIM
Anyone want to clarify this ??

Though OP has specifically called for "guys", I suspect it was an attempt (successful or failed god knows) to impress "potential female co-travellers"
.....Quite a few people confuse IndiaMike with a dating site or try to convert it in to one
...lol

What an absurd replies and deductions to the OP's post! What is the big deal with putting up IIMA? Many things just come up inadvertently, and even if it was intentional, why such negative replies and so much stress on the IIMA part?
Sometimes, the joy that the Daybreak brings, is unparalleled!
LOL, i do not see this chap (IIMA)coming back here for quite some time...
anyways wish him and his IIMA buddies all the luck for their trip... and more for their dash to Drass from Manali in a single day...or 2 days even...

Chill..my friend..I guess everybody is having a bit of fun..I am sure OP would not mind it himself
yeah I agree why the stress on IIMA (even by the OP)
And I differ on the absurd replies comment. I did intend to help and hence provided inputs on links to maps and also corrected the incorrect items in the plan.
A little fun did not do any bad, what happened to sense of humor?

True, depends on how many photos they end up clicking in Kishtwar. Bit of extreme tourism, IMHO but to each his own, I guess. http://www.greaterkashmir.com/news/2...accused-64.asp

Y'all asked for it
Three men in a hot air balloon heading to Leh realized they was lost. One of them reduced altitude and
spotted a woman below. The second man shouted, "Excuse me,
can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I
don't know where I am."
The woman below replied, "You're in a hot air balloon hovering
approximately 30 feet above the ground. You're between 32 and 33 degrees
north latitude and between 76 and 77 degrees East longitude."
"You must be from IndiakMike," said the third balloonist. "I am," replied the woman,
"How did you know?"
"Well," answered the third balloonist, "everything you told me is,
correct, but I've no idea what to make of your information, and the fact
is I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help at all. If anything,
you've delayed my trip."
The woman below responded, "You must be in Management." "I am," replied
the balloonist, "but how did you know?"
"Well," said the woman, "you don't know where you are or where you're
going. You have risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air.
You made a promise which you've no idea how to keep, and you expect people
beneath you to solve your problems. The fact is you are in exactly the same
position you were in before we met, but now, somehow, it's my fault."
[PS: Where are they ?
