17 year old seeking travel partner

I'm going to India for the first time and I'm by myself. I'm landing in Delhi on the 20th of august and I'm leaving on the 7th of september. I'm pretty ambitious with the places I want to see in that time (delhi, agra, bodhgaya, mumbai, goa, back to delhi) and I realize that It would cost a lot less if I had someone interested in being with me and sharing a room at least for a portion of the trip. preferrably somebody closer to my age but not necessarily. I'm 17 and a male. please respond, I could use a companion.

On all but one of my trips I started off alone -- but almost always ended up traveling with someone -- maybe for only several days at a time -- maybe for a week -- but it wasn't that hard to end up finding some kind of a companion -- sometimes an Indian and sometimes a non-Indian. If two, three, or four people all show up for the town's last hotel room -- or several travelers need a ride going the same direction -- suddenly you have companions -- some of whom you'll keep for a few more days and some of whom you'll do your best to drop. Be friendly, don't do anything stupid, and you'll be fine!

True I'm the same, BUT the time of year your traveling would be harder IMHO. Finding someone to go with you to Bodhgaya and to Goa in the monsoon and hot season when it's not the ideal time to go to these places is going to be hard. Though you should meet people once there.
Don't miss Varanasi on your way to Bodhgaya.
