Where to go to travel in July?

Question Where to go to travel in July?

We have got 5 to 6 days off in Mid-July for travelling... but we are puzzled where to go.. since monsoon comes in India that time... and that can spoil all our plans...
Friends... please suggest me, which is the best place to travel and enjoy in July in India..
you can suggest me itenary for 6 days too..
Please help me quickly,only 1 and half months are left...!

if u r travelling mid-july valley of flowers/hemkund will be a nice place to visit.
i had a plan for vof during that time but had to prepone it as could not manage to get leave.

you can travel to Himacal in July Month. There are lot of coolest hill station. I usually go to himachal in June or July month of the year.

If you ask me to go in july then i must select beautiful place to visit. Like canada, south africa. These are very beautiful countries.

you can travel to Manali in July Month. There are lot of coolest hill station. I usually go to Manaliin June or July month of the year.

Hi aheli, You have 5-6 days but not mentioned including journey days or not!!

Hope it's excluding journey times... then shimla, Manali are OK.

You can think of Goa in monsoon too or Kerala sea-sides. Some off bit beaches in Maharastra are also awesome in monsoon as I read some IMer's TR.

Go through those please.

I can suggest you the same of aheli, but if you choose August 1st week VOF is perfect.

well..as almost everybody is suggesting, its time to head the Himalayas. But, most of the places suggested above might be full of tourists. If you are ok with that, well good enough. Personally I prefer the less travelled destinatio away from the civilization which offer more peaceful and serence environment. If you are game for that, you may choose many of the places from Himachal, Uttarakhand or Sikkim itself. Go through those forums. Lots of informative posts on Indiamike.

Well i will suggest you to go Madhya Pradesh there are many things to see like Bandhavgarh forest area for wildlife, Raneh Waterfalls & most important in MP is Khajuraho Temples very beautiful Temples.
