Uttarakhand Mahotsav from Nov 14

Come November and the 'Akhil Garhwal Sabha' will offer a feast for cultural lovers in Dehradun. The Sabha is organising a weeklong 'Uttarakhand Mahotsav' from November 14 to 20.
The festival will commence on November 14 with a colourful cultural rally in which folk artists from different districts will participate.
The Ranger's College ground in the state capital will turn into a 'Kauthik' (village fair) with the folk artists enthralling art lovers.
On 17 November, cultural evening is slated to take place with many reputed singers and musicians taking part.
This year many innovative moves have been taken to add new colours to the Uttarakhand Mahotsav. Painting, GK and debate competitions will feature for the first time. Another fresh entry is cultural dress competition.
