Travel disruptions due to unrest in Punjab

After a shooting in a Sikh temple in Vienna yesterday one preacher died and one is injured. Several riots including attacks on the buses were reported in Punjab, especially in Jhalandar area.

Yep, army out and all. Trouble in other parts of Punjab, Delhi Ambala highway et al reported. Part of a train set afire, I think

Maybe a mod should rename the thread and move it to a more appropriate forum, with more eyeballs. Travellers in and through Punjab are certainly being affected.
