Just want to say thanks to everybody on this site. I'm now in India, in Pune, after three days in Mumbai. I'll be staying at four ashrams and am already having best experience of my life.
All the advice I've gotten from IndiaMike has been so right on, so useful and helpful.
I do have to say that the so far the scams, touts, beggars, smells, garbage, etc., have been must less assaulting that I'd come to believe from reading on the site. I love India. I never want to leave!

I'm keeping a blog, if you'd like to check it out. I did have one funny experience with a tout that I've writeen about there. I'd like to post it here. Can I just copy and past, photos and all?
