Taj Group to run Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur
Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces have signed a management contract to run the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur.
It is learnt that under the contract, 50 crore will be invested for the renovation of the Palace in the next two years. The Welcome group of hotels was earlier in charge of the property. Taj Hotels will operate Umaid Bhawan Palace with 30 rooms and 15 suites. Future plans include 70 rooms, suites and Taj spa. Taj already manages the Taj Lake Palace at Udaipur and the Rambagh Palace at Jaipur in Rajasthan. |
