Hindu seer gunned down in India
A Hindu religious leader and seven of his followers have been shot dead in northern India, say police.
A convoy of cars carrying Swami Sant Gyaneshwar was ambushed near the city of Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh state. The seer was killed instantly. It was not immediately known who carried out the attack.... Continues on http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/4703246.stm |

Check this big idiot out: http://www.sribalasaibaba.us/ He is at risk of being gunned down or mowed down by a truck...for the kind of rash and greedy land grabbing deeds he is indulging in. This guy has the habit of fleecing naked even his own close disciples of their homes and land and sending them to streets. he even ate up a charity children's hospital and of all the things, an entire river bed for himself.

I posted this because (luckily) i can't understand "religious" people that turn to be some kind of gangsters... They pray for peace and understanding but behind the scene they are completely diferent.

...did he do?
Acc. to Deccan Chronicle, he was wanted in connection with 16 (count 'em) criminal cases including murder. Yesterday, a female devotee committed suicide by self immolation shortly after the subject's body was brought to the ashram. I'll let DigiDrifter find the link...
