I am far from a Modi fan, but this is too far fetched, given Bangalore a day earlier, and Surat too.

Sometimes the truth is what stares you in the face.

Besides, that would mean that the investigating agencies are all in collusion across the country (Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Delhi) with some of the States and the Centre with the Congress.

I agree with Capt. on this one, safari vale. The bombs are in varied areas, not just concentrated on Gujarat.

I will be in India during september and I would like to know if you think it will be a safe place due to the terrorist attack and the turmoil in Pakistan.

Thank you

India is as big as Europe. A blast in London doesn't make Rome unsafe.

Whatever happens in Pakistan, its doesn't have much of an impact of day to day life in India..

Hello Veleno

Haywood is an expat who works in India, lives in Navi Mumbai. An e mail warning about the blasts was sent from Haywoods computer just before they exploded killing 60 people. It appears that his computer was hacked, but he was obviously under investigation. Then suddenly a couple of days ago without warning, he and his family flew back to the US without being stopped at immigration, even though a Look Out Notice was issued against him. Its all very fishy.

Here are some links to news posts about this incident, if you are interested:

Not sure, but I think he is the guy with an insecure wireless network.

some e-mail threat, or something, was traced to the IP issued to him at the time.

See how an insecure network can end with being accused of terrorism!
