Scrabble Tournament in Mumbai
FIFTH ALL INDIA OPEN SCRABBLE TOURNAMENT in January 2003 at Mumbai.
The Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana Club, Mumbai has been in the forefront in encouraging the game of Scrabble and in its endeavour to promote it, has organised the All India Open Scrabble Tournament in association with the Mumbai Scrabble Club.
This tournament has now become a regular feature on the Indian scrabble scene and is eagerly looked forward to by the Indian scrabble community. There will be an International Division where expert players from the U.A.E, Oman, U.K. Australia, New Zealand and the Far East are expected.
This tournament will be held within its premises on the 10th, 11th and 12th of January 2003.
In order to attract the best talent Internationally, a total prize money of Rs. 100,000 is on offer.
Scrabble enthusiasts travelling to India during that period could avail the opportunity to add this interesting event to their itenerary.
