Some interesting other links on that other page.

How I became a Bollywood extra.

India’s 2nd butterfly park in Thane.

Does Navi Mumbai need 97 public loos?

Direct links to these pages are not available, so there is a chance they will not be accesable in a few days.

If this is the case, I have saved them and can send them in a private message.

just a sidenote regarding Indian news, for anyone interested in keeping up on Indian news, Google News for India is pretty good. Computer generated compilation of current news stories from India and the world -- it works surprisingly well:

www.sulekha.com is a good website for general India-related articles/news. You may see an eclectic news selection from all the different web-sources under the Newshopper section..

Excert:
There are close to 5,000 dabbawalas operating in the city supplying 2,00,000 dabbas (tiffin boxes) every day. Most of the dabbawalas are from Pune district.

With an interesting colour-coding scheme, comprehensible even to illiterates, the dabbawalas manage to reach out to the length and breadth of the city, seldom faltering.
