The UDF varies by airport, and by type of flight. i.e International Vs domestic. If I am not mistaken Bangalore was the highest for international at $24.

I hope you guys can help me with this.

I'm going to travel from Singapore-Delhi (with Indigo) and Delhi-Bagdogra(with Spicejet) from Sept 17 to Sept 25. I've bought my tickets since January. Just tonight Spicejet sent me an email that I have to pay UDF/ATT, and that I have to pay it before my departure date. I have no problem with that and I have paid it.

What makes me confuse is that Indigo doesn't send me an email about this. And when I checked my itinerary there's nothing that indicate that I have to pay more or an option to do so. So, does that mean there's nothing I have to do with my Indigo ticket?

I just don't want this to be a problem for when I check-in, since the email from Spicejet stated that the taxes should be paid in advance.

Reading the link in #2 it looks like this is an Indian Departure tax so not likely to affect flights out of Singapore.
The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.

This is the email I got from Spicejet.

Please be informed that as per notification from Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), the UDF (User Development Fee / AAT (Airport Arrival Tax) will be levied for all the bookings having the date of travel as 1st Sep 2012 and onwards as per following details :
Out of Delhi – UDF of INR 433.00 per passenger
Into Delehi – AAT of INR 440.00 per passenger

In view of the above, it is mandatory to pay the UDF/AAT before the date of the travel for a smooth flying experience with SpiceJet.

We still haven't got any email from Indigo. And these are the details from our Indigo tickets (2 return tickets SG-DEL-SG

Base Fare and Airline Fuel Charge Rs 22,000.00
Fees & Taxes
PSF/SIN PSC + PSSC + DEL Arrival UDF Rs 1,592.00
Service Tax Rs 654.00
Aviation Levy Rs 498.00
Transaction Charge Rs 100.00
Service Tax Rs 1,144.00
User Development Fee Rs 2,868.00
Transaction fee Rs 1,320.00
Total price Rs 30,176.00

We bought our Indigo tickets via Cleartip.

Thanks for your help
