My Air Deccan Flight went Missing!!

About a month ago I booked an Air Deccan flight from Delhi to Leh for next Wednesday for me and my husband and I just googled Deccan now to go their site and see that our booking is ok.

I was amazed to see there is no Air Deccan site!

It disappeared!
This is my first India trip and after reading so many threads on scams here I was a bit stressed.. I was redirected to an airline called Kingfisher for some reason..it turns out that Air Deccan was merged with Kingfisher 4 days ago so all Deccan flights are now under Kingfisher PNRs. When on the Kingfisher site there wasn't a booking in our name and our PNR wasn't recognized. I'm waiting for them to get back to me and see that I still have a flight booking and get the new PNR and ticket number now..
Is anyone encountering any of these problems? Has anyone been having trouble with their Deccan flights?

This has been in the news. In fact Air Deccan was acquired by Kingfisher some months ago but the formal name merger took place just now. They ought to have contacted you with the new PNR instead of you having to contact them.

However, there should be no reason to worry as Kingfisher is a highly reputed airline. If you do not hear within 24 hours, contact the Kingfisher call centre, or e mail them again.
