Kashmir receives season's first snowfall

The Kashmir Valley received the first snowfall of the season on Nov 30. Tourists flocked to the valley to experience the snowfall.
Snowfall in November is unexpected in Kashmir but greeted by residents and tourists alike. It is learnt that this year the snowfall has arrived earlier. The whole of Srinagar is covered in a thick balnket of snow and is looking white.

Buoyed by the signs of recovery (including withdrawal of Indian troops as part of the confidence building measures), J&K Tourism has unveiled a package for newly weds for a honeymoon in the state.

Chicago received its first snowfall on Nov 24. This usually happens in late Dec or Jan. Of course, nobody flocked to experince, but were rather displeased due to the delays it caused at the airports..

Oh well...

Moscow received its first snowfall on Thursday, Nov 18. The snow kept falling for three days and then stopped. It looks like it's there to stay
