<wonders how much LHR -> Mumbai -> Chennai will be>

Anyway, from a quick look at their website: Do people know that over-65s can get a 20% concession discount? That's almost worth aging 13 years overnight for

I wonder if the £399 price that drwho quotes is an introductory special and the £485 price is the regular??

Nick: I'll have to look into that seniors discount as, unfortunately, I hit the magic number this summer. I wasn't sure how it worked for non-residents when I checked it out last year and lately I've had trouble with their web-site -- maybe it's a Mac or browser problem, or perhaps because I block pop-ups. Will check further, though. It was nice getting the senior concession on rail this year (60+) as it makes the jump to ac class easier to take.

Lightbulb Yea!

Is this the first step of a series to steps to come, when Jet Airways will surpass Air India in providing quality, realiable, and affordable travel to India? I hope so.

I love this competition of air travel of Indian owned companies. Yippy!

Well, -m2-, I'm amazed! Anyway, here is the web page I see they do a 'youth' discount for those aged 12-29 as well.

Just wish they wouldn't discriminate against those of us in between!

Not very good. You can get cheaper fares elsewhere.

Thanks. I was looking forward to Jet's service from the US. But if they are not low cost, foget it.. Unless they have a non-stop supersonic flight that gets me to India in a few hours..
