Indiamike in New York Times Article
Great publicity for IndiaMike. Got a mention in the Travel Section article in New York times.
http://travel.nytimes.com/2007/03/25...l/25India.html Seems the traffic in the community will keep growing with such publicity |

Hi folks,
I am so happy that I found this site. I'm visiting India this year at in a few months and I'm certain that this site will make my trip fun. Haven't been to India in 4 years. I heard about this site via the Times and decided to check it out. Thus far this I can see that this site will be an integral part of my trip. I'll be visting Mumbai, Goa, Pune and?? Have 3 weeks... dataguru |

Thats nice.
But what an irony! The article tells you how to travel with truck loads of money, lists hotels like Oberoi Amarvilas starting from $600 and then mentions a forum for - according to them - backpackers! So much for travel writing! |

welcome. Data, India hasn't changed much in 4 years. the folks that haven't been in 10 or more years are the ones who find everything topsy-turvey (for a few days anyway)
