Thumbs up India Fifth Top Destination

Todays Rediff article reveals that....

India figures among the top ten world travel destinations and is the fifth choicest place to visit.

Egypt, Peru, Galapagos and China are the first four top travel destinations. Other destinations preferred after India are South Africa, France, Italy, New Zealand and Alaska .

Talking Texas

Should have been Texas and not Alaska. Texas does think of itself as a whole another country.

Now, why am I not surprised?

Where else could you have rainforests, towering mountains, arid deserts, backwaters, abundant wildlife, a melting pot of culture an religions, an overdose of colours, a warm, hospitable people.. etc?

Great country - India, ain't it?

I wish I would make it to Peru one day but the Indian rupees I earn, do not convert well for foreign travel. Good for me that I live in India and can keep exploring it and never run out of options.
