Todays Rediff article reveals that....
India figures among the top ten world travel destinations and is the fifth choicest place to visit. Egypt, Peru, Galapagos and China are the first four top travel destinations. Other destinations preferred after India are South Africa, France, Italy, New Zealand and Alaska .Last edited by rab : Jan 11th, 2006 at 08:48. Reason: missing title |

Where else could you have rainforests, towering mountains, arid deserts, backwaters, abundant wildlife, a melting pot of culture an religions, an overdose of colours, a warm, hospitable people.. etc? Great country - India, ain't it? nevilleb |

Well, the USA for one - all those things are there - but it will cost you a heck of a lot more. :-( $$$

I wish I would make it to Peru one day but the Indian rupees I earn, do not convert well for foreign travel. Good for me that I live in India and can keep exploring it and never run out of options.
