| Flying? Pay Rs 500 for airports The government wants air travellers to pay for developing greenfield airports across India. The ministry of civil aviation is planning to impose a fee of around Rs 500 on all air passengers to raise funds for developing greenfield airports. The Advance Development Fee will be collected from passengers once they disembark. The proceeds will be used to fund new airport ventures. "The ministry has capped the cess at Rs 500. We will notify the creation of the fund soon," a source said. "It is proposed to be managed by a high-powered government committee." | Be thankful your visa was only 30 pounds. Here in Spain I had to pay 97 euros for my US passport. Spanish pay 50 euros. |

| I meant my Indian visa for my US passport. All goes to the Indians. My contribution to the US this year was my absentee vote, didn't help though... |
