I have no idea what you're suggesting here, I'm not aware of anywhere in India where dogs are killed "for survival" - exactly which part of India are you talking about?

Well, yes. Obviously. Assuming of course that those who are "typing from behind a computer" are uneducated, which is rather a broad assumption...

But the fact remains that it's not those who have the means and the will to educate themselves who are the problem in India, are they?

Did I say anything in my last post about rural parts of India? I don't seem to recall doing so....

This thread isn't about basic education, we are talking about whether it is right or not to kill stray dogs and people who are online can educate themselves about this subject.

I recommend that everyone read my posts archives and you will see that Haylo takes this higher-than-thou tone with me every single time.

No, of course not, if you look back, you'll see that was me who spoke about rural parts of India.

Yes. Dogs. Which is why I challenged your use of the phrase "kill animals for survival" which seems inappropriate.

I rarely feel that it is productive for members to respond to accusations like this, as I feel it is bad for the site and generally irrelevant to the discussions, but I do want to assure you that I respond honestly to the comments I see on threads, whoever it is who has made them. There is nothing personal directed towards you in my response, and in fact given your avatar which must have changed at some point I hadn't even recognised you as an existing member.

Besides, at 4' 10" I gave up ambitions of being "higher-than-anyone" many years ago!

well whatever it is haylo i guess we both should just laugh and accept that we are total polar opposites which is I guess what makes life so interesting (from time to time)

Mod note: This is an old thread, with old information and recent postings with no relevant current info. Despite my love of dogs, this thread is closed. If anyone has some new relevant info to contribute on this topic: please start a new thread. Thanks
