Bomb blasts in Delhi

Ok, I can't believe I'm the first one reporting this, but here goes:

Serial blasts are being reported from 3 places in Delhi - Ghaffar Market of Karol Bagh, M-Block Market of Greater Kailash 1, and Connaught Place, starting around 6.15 pm.
Just in the last 15 mins there have been 2 blasts in GK and Karol Bagh, so this is clearly an emergent situation.

Obviously anyone outside right now can't be reading this, but if you know anyone who is, or is about to head out, call em and tell em to stay away from crowded places specially markets, there cud be more blasts. Try and avoid the subway too, is my advice.
Other than that, I see no reason to panic, it's unlikely that uncrowded places will be hit. The devices seem to be crude low-intensity ones till now.

I can't provide regular updates right now, watch the TV (in India).

[EDIT: Dilliwala added info to his first post after I posted!]

One in Karol Bagh, one Barakamba Road (don't know how to spell it) is what I've heard.

Airtel lines are very busy, if anyone's trying to get through to someone don't panic, it may take a few attempts.

Confirmed casualties - 1 dead, 15 injured.
Estimated injured - 50.

Foreign channels (with local reps) still on other programming.
(Well, CNN has the hurricane on).

In GK 1, bomb kept in a parked scooter exploded, damaging nearby vehicles. No reports of any casualties yet.

In Karol Bagh, reportedly a cylinder explosion of some kind.

Phone jammers used by cops in some areas.

Could not get through to an airtel number just now, other networks may be not working too.

The Indian Mujahideen has claimed responsibility in an email sent in the name of Allah, or his prophet, or whatever.

Confusing reports, NDTV sometimes says 5 blasts, and sometimes 7 including Palika Bazaar

TimesNOw says cops found bomb at India Gate too, unexploded.

Sarojini Devi Market shut down and evacuated as a precaution.

News saying Delhi and Chennai reported targets after recent SIMI arrests, Gujarat government had warned Delhi about this.

Capn,
I don't think it's phone jammers, just networks overloaded.

Wildly fluctuating figures, specially of injured, being reported, so I'm hesitant to write anything, however most conservative estimate I can hazard at right now is - 8 dead, 50 injured.

Don't believe em, Capn. Really really wild stuff floating about right now.

On another note, other cities reported to be on high alert - Chandigarh, Indore, Bhopal, Chennai. Noida markets have been evacuated.

NDTV News is currently reporting 18 killed and many injured. The first blast was at 6.10 p.m. in Karol Bagh, Gaffar Market. Subsequent blasts were 5 in the next 20 mins - at Palika Bazaar, Connaught Place ( one in a rubbish bin in Central Park, another Barkhamba Road area), and Greater Kailash 1 - M Block market.
According to police, the bombs were of 'low intensity'. No matter that, still people are horribly affected losing their loved ones and suffering dreadful injuries. This is a shock for all, and please Delhi folks, take care and my prayers are with you.
