Ryan Chambers

Thanks for your response Steven.

I plan to overnight in Delhi then travel to Rishikesh. I actually arrive in Delhi night of 24th so will overnight then travel to Rishikesh.
I need budget accommodation in Delhi and a train ticket to Rishikesh, can I do both on-line?

Train 2017 departs New Delhi (staion code NDLS) daily at 06:55 and gets to Haridwar (code HW) at 11:22

Air con chair class = Rs 435

Availability for 25th May = 0534

Breakfast will be served on this train.

You can book on-line at http://www.irctc.co.in/

This can sometimes be easy, sometimes near impossable, there are many threads in the 'trains' forum to help you understand the above website.

If you look in the Delhi Hotel listings part of indiamike you will find many hotels in Delhi, look for one in Paharganj, this is very close to New Delhi train station and the main backpackers area of Delhi, look at individual listings to see if bookings can be made on-line.

Haridwar is about 22 kms from Rishikesh, there are plenty of buses for this route.

I worked with Ryan, John and Scott L at Wynns winery when all 3 did a vintage there in 2005, we often talk about Ryan and wonder where he is and hope he is ok, I hope this turns out for the best.
From Joe C and all the Wynns ppl.
