36 Dead in bus blast in Chitwan, Nepal

This news has been reported today. Apparently a packed bus ran over a huge landmine near Narayangadh in southern Nepal. Some reports suggest that more than 50 people have been killed in the atrosity.

It's appalling isn't it?
It seems that the Nepali people are stuck between a rock and a hard place: an utterly corrupt government and royal family, or a bunch of murderous Maoists.

It is so utterly tragic, and there is so little hope of peace.
