Your opinions please

Hello this is my first post, I would like to ask what people think of my planned itinerary below. I have 3 weeks in India in November flying in and out of Mumbai. I purchased another one way ticket from Mumbai to Trivandrum on Jet airways. I am now woundering if it is not too packed and maybe I should just stick with Goa and Pune?

1 night in Mumbai
1 night in Trivandrum
1 night in Kollam
Boat to Alleppey - 1 night there
2 nights in Cochin
Train to Margao
1 week in Goa
Train/bus to Pune - 5 nights there (Osho resort)
1 night Mumbai.

All comments appreciated.

The first part of the trip is packed. I guess you want to do the backwater trip that's why your flying all the way to Trivandrum and spending only 1 night.
If you decide that its too much, you could just go to Goa and Pune and while in Goa make a side trip to Hampi or Mysore for a few days. Both good places.

Just a suggestion.

trip to india

Hi there, your Itinerary looks great,no problems from what I can
see, hope you have a wonderfull trip.

Getting a small taste of Kerala is good Idea,if you like it,
you can allways come back another time and stay longer.

Have you been to India before?

Small taste is an understatement. It's a tease.
