Which one will you choose ?

Have made 2 itineraries, unable to decide which one should I choose, if you are me, which one will you choose ?

depart in Feb 2007 with 2 friends :

Option A
day 1 arrive delhi , stay in hotel
day 2 delhi - agra evening, stay in hotel
day 3 agra - jodhpur 19:55-07:20, sleep in train 2AC
day 4 jodphur - jaisalmer 23:15-05:15, sleep in train again 2AC
day 5 stay in hotel
day 6 jaisalmer - jaipur 16:00-04:50 , sleep in train
day 7 jaipur - delhi 16:35-21:30 , stay in hotel
day 8 depart from delhi 22:35
day 9 back home
Option B
day 1 arrive delhi , stay in hotel
day 2 delhi - agra evening, stay in hotel
day 3 agra - jaipur, stay in hotel
day 4 jaipur - jaisalmer 23:22-13:00, sleep in train 2AC
day 5 stay in hotel
day 6 jaisalmer - jodhpur 23:15-05:15 , sleep in train
day 7 jodhpur - delhi 22:30-10:30 , sleep in train
day 8 depart from delhi 22:35
day 9 back home

it is difficult to have a long vacation leave, except I quick my job.

This is our first time to visit India. At first, we just plan to visit agra,jaipur and jodhpur, due to one of my friend like to have an experience of joiningg San and Dune tour.That's why we include Jaisalmer.

I am facing your same doubts!
Up to me "B" is the best option even if I would avoid spending two consecutive night on train.
You should choose the train number 4060 living from jaisalmer 16.00 to jodhpur 21.50 so that you can stay one night in hotel in Jodhpur.
Have a nice time and enjoy your trip.

If this is your first trip to India, and it is for only 8 days, I'd only do the 'Golden Triangle' of Delhi - Jaipur - Agra. As everybody else has said, it's a bit too tight. Other than that, I'd probably go for option 2.

day 6 Jaipur - agra fort , stay in hotel
day 7 Agra
day 8 Agra- Delhi 10:18-13:45, back home depart 22:35
day 9 arrive home

How about this ? If I can convince my friend not to go to Jaisalmer. Is it better than Plan A and B ? Ty

Thanks VSP for the train schedule.

Bingo !! it is totally the same as per our preliminary plan. Due to 19 hrs train( Jaisalmer - Delhi ), that's why the plan was re-aarange to option A and B as above.

2 will arrive delhi 2/16, another one 2/17 early in the morning by 3 am.
2 depart from delhi on 2/23 by 22:35 , another one 2/24 by 7am.
