Where to find snow around mid December ?

I was keen on knowing where can I find snow or little snow fall around MID December; anywhere in Himachal pradesh or Uttrakhand or Kumoan region or garwhal region?

I just wanna see snow on trees, roofs, roads, etc etc & live for few days in such an enviroment in wooden cottage.

Been to leh this year, saw enough of snow, but everything was enroute. I wish to stay in a town / village, that is partially covered with snow.

Been thru several posts, but not been able to figure out, which place has the maximum probabality of snow fall around mid december?

On the second thoughts, it could also be around 25 Decemeber to 30 December, but prefrably around mid december?

Anyone experienced snow fall in December in Himachal Pradesh or Uttrakhand ?
