Weather end March & April: Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh?... Or summer, autumn?

I usually stay in Manali. But I do like visiting Rajasthan and Mahdya Pradesh. However, I have only been in those places in January. So what's the weather like end of March???? For me, hot is over 31 or 32 degrees celcius.

Rajasthan end March: How Hot Will It Be??

I am a long time traveller to India. But I am a wimp for the heat, so I spend most of my months in the far North of India. (I have been to Goa, Kerala and various warm places - so I don't mind 30-33 degree heat. It's when it gets to be 36 to 46 degrees that I wilt).

The last time I was in Rajasthan was 2006 in February. I remember that even then it was 30 degrees or so in the day.

How much hotter do you think it will be end of March?

My husband so wants to go back to Rajasthan at this time, but I think it will be too warm.

What do you think?

Thumbs up

Okay, today's February 26 and the forecast for the next five days for Jodhpur ranges from highs of 91F and nighttime lows of 55F. In March, it will be warmer...

My plans changed

I was planning on going to India with my husband in end of March. Now our travel may be pushed further back. Possibly we would travel in the summer. Maybe in June, July or August...(I would prefer August, September, October).

I've only been in Madhya Pradesh in November. But people tell me at the end of the monsoon, it is lovely. Especially Mandu.

Is this correct?

I would really love to see Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh at the best time of the year as it may be our last trip to India for a few years.

Moderator note: Your related threads have been merged again. With 26,688 members and 40,077 threads to date, you can't expect people to keep track of what your "changed plans" refer to, other than by keeping your related queries together.

This is also why the site doesn't allow for multiple posting, as outlined in the Forum Rules. This includes spreading out your related queries all over the site. It just doesn't help anyone, not you, not people trying to answer you, not people looking for the same answers in the future.

Thanks.

Yes, Mandu is lovely during Monsoon.

During last week of March the high temprature should be in range of 35-38 Centirgade. Low should be 18 - 24 Centigrade.
