VOF or Rajasthan decision
I'm questioning my itinerary again...
I'm wondering if I should go to the Valley of Flowers or not. The only reason I'm skeptical is the 6 day commitment it will take to get there and back. I only have 12 days total and I wonder if I would rather go to Rajastan and be able to relax a bit more. But then again, I think the mountain towns would be great too. I am a first-time solo female traveler. Some advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Ally |

You have not mentioned when you will be travelling. July & August are the best time to visit VOF.

She said in another post August and September. Plus, she said in another thread that she really likes mountains. So I vote for VOF. I think Rajasthan will still be quite hot. ???

August is not a good time to visit Rajasthan the weather will be muggy & pretty hot in the Sun. From mid September it becomes better.
Our member Somnath has just returned from VOF so we can expect some current info. |

Solo female, first timer, is in my mind.
If in August/September , definitely VOF, but take the usual precautions. If not in AUg/Sep, which means later.. Rajasthan  |
