Visit to leh

Hello,

We are plannign to visit Leh in the first week of October 2008.Please provide me information regarding following points:

1. What is the weather condition during October. Is it too cold.
2. I know, this is not the season time, but is it advisable to visit leh during october.
3.Wheather elderly person (around 65 years) will face any difficulties.
4. If we go to Leh during October, can we visit Pangong lake and Nubra valley during that time.
