Varanasi to Bangalore

Hi There,

We need to get from Varanasi to Bangalore on the 24th of May, or rather we need to be in Bangalore on the 25th of May.

As two female photographers (travelling with equipment) can anyone recommend either a train or flight (or any mode of transport) that wont cost the earth.

Their is a train from mughal sarai(appxm 18 kms from varanasi) to bangalore train no 2296, or you have to go to delhi and to bangalore if you wanna fly.

It's 45 hours from Varanasi/Mughal Sarai to Bangalore, have a look at the timings on www.erail.in
The flight option looks a lot better, though it's not cheap.

There is a Rs5844 option, but it only allows 90 minutes to change planes, and as you'd be using 2 different airlines you may have problems if your first flight is delayed, the following seems a safer option.....
