Varanasi - Hospet : advice for train route and stops asked

Hey there,

i am in Varanasi at the moment and want to go to Hospet (Hampi) in two or three days by train. So like written in the thread title, I am asking you for advice about the best and fastest sleeper class routes with, in the best case, no bus rides and the least amount of train switches possible. Also I would be very happy about hints, what would be a worth place to stay as stopover. As the way is either way quite long and I will have at least one stop on every route, it would be cool to set the stop at a worthy place. All in all, the way there should not cost me more than three days, so I do not want to make a bigger detour.
