Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir June/July

Hi everybody,
I have already posted regarding my upcoming 4-week trip with my wife to India... however, the plan keeps on changing Anyhow, here what the plan is:

-Arrive in Delhi
-Rishikesh, haridwar, dehra dun (then the gaumukh trek)
-Shimla
-Manali
-Leh
Then there are two of three options:
-Possibly fly back to Delhi then do day trip to Agra
Or
-Take the road back through Srinagar and see the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala(july 7th-11th). It this case we will head to Agra when we first get to Delhi.

We're looking to fly out from Montreal on June 12th and fly home on July 11th. In the case that we decide to see His Holiness in Dharamsala we will shift the vacation by a week (June 19th to July 17th).

My worries are that we're trying to do too much in four weeks. I would really like to take my time and absorb each town. This is a very loose plan... but I would appreciate your feedback, opinions, suggestions, and criticisms

If that is your intention, you are trying to do too much.

I would suggest keep two/three days for Delhi, and list your 'must see' places. After that, keeping general route in mind, you can decide what to knock off.

This is going to be hectic... Hope you've consulted the wife...

Why not just find a nice place and chill... touring can be tiring... try a vacation instead... somewhere in the hills of Himachal would be nice
