Udaipur to jodhpur

Hi just wondering what the best way to get between these 2 places are? Would we be better on a bus or train? if a train ahich route? Any info would be helpful. thanks

If you're sightseeing then it seems car+driver is the best option as you'll be able to stop at Ranakpur and/or Kumbalgarh on the way. This is the way that I'm doing it in April.

Hi There,

We will be using a taxi from Udaipur to Jodhpur on 17th Jan. We have had 2 quotes [1] from the Panorama GH where we are staying for Rs3000 (add 10% for driver's tip?) That will be via the Jain Temples at Ranakspur.
[2]I also had a quote for 3500 (Non a/c) from a taxi firm in Udaipur.

Expected journey time is 8 hrs including the stop over at the temples.
