trivandrum or pondicherry jul/august

Hi Folks,

I'm an NRI now living in Delhi. My american fiancee is coming for 2 months in july and we're trying to find a place that we can hang out in for 2 months that isn't affected by the monsoon. Just in looking at metereological charts trivandrum and pondicherry dont' get too much rain then. They're still hot but I think it will be alright. We're just trying to figure out which is better. We'll need an apartment for 2 months to call home with broadband internet. We run an internet company and broadband is very important. Pondicherry has a nice french influence, and there seems like there's a fair amount to do there.

Trivandrum is in beautiful Kerala and the backwaters are nearby. Unfortunately, it will be raining all the time farther north in kerala so I don't know fun it will be to go through the backwaters.

Any help or alternative suggestions gladly accepted. Ladakh/Leh are out. My fiancee almost died of altitude sickness in Nepal so no mountains.

For your kind information monsoon approaches Pondichery in august but as comparable to other parts of India you will find quite moderate and pleasant. Days could be a bit humid bur evening is always pleasant. as per your requirements you can easily get an apartment of 02 bedrooms at very genuine price tag between 2500-3500 Rs. As far as broadband internet facility is concerned it is available in Pondichery .Really once you will reach there you will find a great French essence in the air of pondichery.there are many places in and the surrounding of Pondichery i.e.Aurovido Ahram ,Arrovile French Libraries beautiful south Indian temples, Churches,etc.
