Accomodation.
Munnnar has lots of accomodation from simple guest houses to resorts.
Check out the following links http://munnar.com/accommodation/hotellist.php http://www.hotelsmunnar.com/travel.html There are so many places and you can comfortably cover them in 3 days or so. The route to munnar is also damn good. you can plan something like. coimbatore to Munnar ( Appr 4 hrs ) spend 3 days in Munnar Munnar to MAdhurai ( Appr 4 hrs ). Both the routes are ver good..Some of the scenic spots are on the way ( Either cbe to munnar or munnar to madurai ). Sriram.B |

@Govinda,
I thought of sharing what I know on the commuting part ! If you are planning to Utilize Public Transportation, you could get inter-city express Or any of the Night trains to Coimbatore followed by a bus to Munnar If you are planning in your Car, You could take 1) Bangalore- Mandya-Shrirangapatna-Mysore-Nanjangud-Chamarajanagara-Bannari-Sathiamangalam-Coimbatore [ For Scenic Drive] OR 1) Bangalore-hosur-Dharmapuri-Mettur-Bhavani-Perundurai-Coimbatore Follwed by Chinnar-Munnar Hope this helps ! Regards Velu |

I had my honeymoon in Kerala too. If you are planning for a 3-4 days trip I would suggest spend all of it in Munnar only. It's a wonderful place. Or if you want you can add one night Alleppy too in your itinerary. Spend one night at Allepey in a house boat. It will be a lifetime experience!
