Trip to Manali-Rishikesh-Ladakh

Hello!!

This forum is just what I was looking at to ask for some trip advice

So, Me and my friends are planning to go to Manali in the 2nd week of May and from there on ..either go to Rishikesh or Leh Ladakh

I need to know if the roads to Leh are open in the 2nd week? is it a good time to go? I've heard it hot and kind offseason??? We plan to make the journey by car from manali, If not then we plan to go to rishikesh ..how far is it from manali and how much time would it take? Any alternative place suggestions would be awesome!!

We fly out of Mumbai to Delhi and drive down to either Manali to Rishikesh..how far is rishikesh from Delhi?

So yeah we don't have a concrete plan but we do want to go trekking , white water rafting and something along those lines.

Latest word : BRO has three crews working on the road , their first taget was opening this week.

Make nightfall in Keylong , Jispa or Darcha to acclimatize - don´t sleep in Sarchu.

tell me about your time schedule
& i cud help chart out a plan
