| Kanyakumari Trip Hi Balaji, After completing your Kanyakumari trip, you can go over to Tirunelveli. Unfortunately the Kutrallam Waterfalls season would start in mid June otherwise you could have had a blast. You can try and visit Papanasam dam, manimuthar waterfalls if you have time. Do go through the below link which would give you an idea of places to visit. http://www.webindia123.com/city/tami...d%20Waterfalls Once you touch Tirunelveli, you can visit the ancient Nellaiappar Temple and not to forget to buy Tirunelveli Halwa. If you want to know where the original one is sold, ask me later. If you are interested in temples, then you should not miss the Krishnaouram temple, famous for its stone sculptures. Each one is a amazing piece of art. Just to give you an example, the there is a stone bow and arrow in one of the sculptures and the artiste has made a small hole, where only a needle can go and come out of the other end. Just imajine how it could have been done and the mastery involved as it is not just wood or plastic which can be moulded. The other places are the famous Nava Tirupathi temples. Krishnapuram and the Nava Tirupathi temples are situated on the highway from Tiruneveli to Tiruchendur and both sides of the highway are a treat to the eyes with lush green fields and banana goves. When you touch Srivaikuntam, you could see the beautiful tamaraiparani river and if you guys have time, step in and take a bath. To visit the temple, you would need to cross the bridge and take bath on the temple side, at the end of the brdge. After finishing Temple visit at Tiruchendur, you can take the road route to Rameswaram. Just check out the below link which would give you an idea of how to proceed. http://www.mapsofindia.com/maps/tami...lnaduroads.htm Hope this helps, Raghu Quote:
