Trip Suggestions
I am planning to travel to India sometime after May in 2008.
Should I head off later in the year to avoid monsoon season?

I think it would help to tell us where you want to go, in general. that way, you would get better answers to your question.
in the alternative, you can always search this forum for "monsoon" and get lots of hits about the monsoon season in India. searching this forum first for answers to the questions you have is really a good way to get started on researching your trip to India! |

I was originally planing to arrive at Delhi and make my way around to more "lowkey" less busy cities in hopes of fufilling the western dream of spirtuality.
